UNSICHTBAR (Site-specific binaural audio piece, 2019/2021)

Hundreds of thousands of care workers from Eastern Europe work in Germany. They are supposed to care and give love - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are needed here. And yet they are missing where they come from. Not only is their work invisible, they themselves are too. "Unsichtbar" makes the entanglements of international care work audible through texts, sounds, pieces of music and acoustic scenes - with the help of dummy head technology - and gives the invisible a voice. With a view of the city, the listeners sit and follow the audio piece, completely to themselves for 40 minutes with headphones.

Realized at Schauspielhaus Bochum and Münchner Kammerspiele. Direction, Text & Sound: Ludwig Berger and Florian Fischer. Voice: Svetlana Belesova Dramaturgy (Bochum Version): Felicitas Arnold, Dorothea Neweling
